Examples of Services
• General mammal field surveys for species such as Badger, Fox, Otter and Pine Marten.• Use of remote cameras to determine activity levels, location of foraging routes and occupancy of breeding sites.
• Bat surveys using heterodyne and time expansion detectors, with follow up analysis of recordings of bat calls using specialist software programmes.
• House and other structures surveys to determine occupancy by bat species.
• Small mammal surveys using live trapping techniques.
• Supervision of the installation of mitigation measures (e.g. bat boxes) during construction, with follow up post-construction monitoring.
• Closure and removal of Badger setts under licence from National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS).
• Production of reports, for inclusion in Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIA), Environmental Impact Statements (EIS), Natura Impact Statements (NIS) and stand alone reports.
• Consultation with statutory and non-statutory bodies including local authorities, NPWS and Irish Wildlife Trust
