Director and principal ecologist of Glas Ecology Ltd, David Rees has over 20 years experience working as both a nature reserve site manager and an
ecological consultant.
David is a highly experienced field surveyor with particular expertise in birds, habitats and botany. He has project managed and contributed to a wide range of ecological impact assessments, carrying out fieldwork and producing reports for a diversity of projects including wind farm developments, overhead powerlines, road schemes, fuel pipelines and housing schemes.
He was previously a Senior Project Ecologist, firstly with Tobin Engineers
and latterly with Fehily Timoney & Co. Before that he was the Site Manager with responsibility
for establishing and running a 270 ha wetland nature reserve for RSPB in North Wales.
He has project managed and contributed to a wide range of ecological impact

He has provided expert witness testimony at Oral hearings and produced numerous Appropriate Assessments to accompany planning applications.
